Meet the BMW Electromagnetic Quick-Release Cradle. A keyless version of the original BMW navigation cradle: install it in its place or on a Ø12-16 mm crossbar. Your display comes off in seconds at the press of a button, and when the motorcycle is off, the cradle stays locked.

AIO-5 Play for BMW mounts directly. AIO-6 and AIO-6 LTE require the Quick-Release Module installed.

Yes. Navigator V and VI are fully supported: locking, power, vehicle data and Wonder Wheel. The Garmin zūmo XT3 mounts and powers up, but offers no wheel control or BMW data, same as on the original cradle.

Yes, if your motorcycle has the factory SA 272 option (Preparation for Navigation System). Without it, no cradle can provide wheel control, including the original BMW one. If unsure, ask your BMW dealer to check by VIN.

No. Turning the motorcycle on is what allows the cradle to unlock. Hold the button for 2 seconds and remove the display within 10 seconds.

Without power the cradle stays locked and the unlock button does not work.

The cradle only passes information provided by the motorcycle. Available data depends on the model, year and configuration.

The cradle has a manual emergency release, so the display can be removed even without power.
