Can a beginner install the AIO-5 Lite by themselves?

Yes, a beginner can install the AIO-5 Lite and AIO-5 Play by carefully following the instructions. The installation requires basic skills and knowledge of electronics and electrical systems. If in doubt, please contact us or find a trusted moto shop near you.

Do I interfere with the motorcycle's electronics during the installation of the AIO-5?

Installing the AIO-5 Play is limited to connecting the device to a power source, and connecting the ACC wire. The AIO-5 Lite version requires a direct connection to the battery and routing cables to the cameras. There is no need to drill or cut.

Is the AIO-5 Lite and AIO-5 Play main unit detachable? How can I prevent theft?

No, the AIO-5 is mounted permanently. To prevent theft, the AIO-5 is equipped with special anti-theft screws, and theft is further complicated by wiring installed inside the motorcycle. Only detachable device currently is AIO-5 Play for BMW.

How do I connect the remote control?

In the device settings, go to Features, select the RC (remote control) option, and enable pairing. After pressing any button on the remote, it will pair automatically.

How do I connect the BMW Wonder Wheel to the AIO-5?

AIO-5 Play for BMW is a dedicated version for BMW motorcycles that allows you to control it via WonderWheel natively. If you want to connect WonderWheel to universal AIO-5 Lite and Play, you can use CGRC Can and CGRC Lin adapters, which pair as a remote control and allow you to connect WonderWheel to the AIO-5.

Can I operate the AIO-5 screen while wearing motorcycle gloves?

Yes, we recommend using special gloves designed for touchscreens.

Can I power the AIO-5 from a portable battery?

No, the device must be connected to a motorcycle's direct current (DC) power source of 12-18V.

What kind of SD card can I use in the AIO-5 Lite?

Use a UHS-1 Class 3 (V30) or higher speed class card with a capacity ranging from 8 to 256GB to ensure proper video performance.

Can the AIO-5 be installed without cameras?

For the version without cameras, see the AIO-5 PLAY.

Can it be installed on a motorcycle with strong vibrations, such as a single-cylinder engine with a long stroke?

Yes, the mount features a 3-axis floating structure that absorbs shocks and is vibration-resistant. NOTE: In such cases, regularly check the motorcycle for loose screws.

Which phones are supported by the AIO-5?

Phones with Android 11 or later and iPhones with iOS 13 or later. During screen mirroring, the phone is the main processing unit, so more powerful phones will provide a better experience.

Usage

How do I activate the touch lock during rain?

To prevent unwanted screen interactions caused by raindrops, you can activate the touch lock. To do this:

On AIO-5 Lite, hold the lock button (on the top, first from the right side) for 3 seconds and then release. On AIO-5 Play, simply click the lock button (on the top, first from the right side). To exit touch lock, swipe from the bottom of the screen.

Can I use the AIO-5 in the rain?

Yes, the AIO-5 Lite and AIO-5 Play are waterproof and dustproof with IP67 and IP68 certifications, respectively, so using them in the rain is not an issue.

How do I connect my phone to the AIO-5?

Select the CarLink option on the AIO-5 main screen or press the button at the top of the device. At the bottom, choose the system you want to connect through (Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, or Bluetooth). Then, in Bluetooth settings, find the CHIGEE-XXXX device with the corresponding number displayed on the AIO-5 screen.

Does the AIO-5 store my data?

No, your data is processed and stored on your phone. The AIO-5 Lite does not store any contact or location data.

Is the AIO-5 resistant to extreme temperatures?

Yes, the device operates within a temperature range of -20°C to 70°C.

Why is my AIO-5 getting hot?

The AIO-5 dissipates heat through its screen and housing. It's an intentional design allowing internal components to function properly.

Can I use the rear camera as a rearview mirror?

The rear camera is a helpful feature but does not replace mirrors. Please use it responsibly and stay aware of your surroundings.

Can I use the AIO-5 while riding?

Do not take your hands off the handlebars or your eyes off the road while riding.

Yes, we are the Polish branch of the CHIGEE brand. All products come from official Polish distribution and are shipped from our warehouse in Poland.

If I damaged the product during installation, is it covered by the warranty?

No, the warranty is only valid for factory defects. If the product is damaged during incorrect installation, you can apply for a paid replacement or purchase spare parts.
