BMW Nav Recess Adapter Bracket (R1200RT / R1250RT / K1600)

For owners of BMW motorcycles with the classic cockpit, two analogue dials with the factory navigation recess above them, fitting an additional display used to mean improvising.

This adapter solves the problem by setting a CHIGEE device exactly into the space the manufacturer designed for it. The adapter is precisely made, and with the screen off it stays almost invisible in the dashboard.

Which display to choose for a BMW tourer

If what you mainly want is Wonder Wheel control and engine data, the simplest route is the AIO-5 Play for BMW. It clips straight into the factory cradle and does not need this adapter.

This adapter is the right choice when you also want cameras in the cockpit. The AIO-5 Play for BMW has none, and the AIO-6 does not fit the recess. That leaves the AIO-5 EVO with its built-in dashcam, mounted on this adapter.

The mount is compatible with the AIO-5 EVO and AIO-5 Play.

Go by the cockpit, not by the year. Production year, model year and registration year often differ, and 2021 is a transition year in which both dashboard types appear. Look at your bike: if you have two analogue dials with a recess for a navigation device above them, this adapter is the right one. If you have one wide screen instead, you need the 10.25-inch TFT adapter.
