Eyes forward.
Radar watches your back.

A 77 GHz radar built for motorcycles. It sees 70 metres behind you and warns you while there's still time to react.

Motorcycle with the SR-1 radar: module at the rear, LED indicators by the mirrors, wiring

Sees further than your mirror

Up to 70 metres behind you, including the lanes beside you. The warning comes before a car can surprise you.

One radar, four situations

  • Blind spot detection: the SR-1 radar detects a car beside and behind the motorcycle

    Blind spot (BSD)

The radar warns you about vehicles outside your field of view.

  • Active overtake alert: the SR-1 radar checks whether a vehicle is closing in from behind

    After the overtake (AOA)

Checks the lane before you move back in.

  • Lane change assist: the SR-1 radar detects a car approaching in the next lane

    Lane change (LCA)

Warns you about a vehicle in the lane you are moving into.

  • Rear collision warning: the SR-1 radar detects a car closing in fast from behind

    Rear collision (RCW)

Someone closing in too fast? Instant signal.

The radar module and the indicator lights in the box cover the whole job: detection and visual warning. Connecting an AIO-5 or AIO-6 display adds audible alerts.

Warns you. And the driver behind you.

The LED bar in the module flashes when someone closes in too fast. The driver sees you earlier, especially at night.

Details you feel on the road

  • Automatic indicator brightness

The indicators dim at night and in tunnels so they do not dazzle you.

  • SR-1 radar module on its mounting bracket

    Two mounting options

The bracket goes on in either of two orientations. The radar module itself stays put.

SR-1 radar warning on the CHIGEE AIO-6 display

Radar on screen, alerts in the speaker

Pair the radar with an AIO-5 or AIO-6 display and you see where the vehicle behind you is and which side it is approaching from. Warnings play through the display's speaker.

Indicators in the box, or radar mirrors

  • SR-1 LED indicator mounted by the mirror arm

    Indicator lights, included

Two small indicator lights fit next to your mirrors.

  • CHIGEE mirror with an LED indicator for the SR-1 radar

    CG Radar mirrors

The indicator sits in the mirror arm, so the cockpit stays clean. Requires the SR-1 module.

Blind spot detection: the SR-1 radar detects a car beside and behind the motorcycle

Blind spot (BSD)

Blind Spot Detection

Detects vehicles in your blind spot before you change lanes.

The radar keeps watching the zone beside and behind the bike. When a vehicle enters it, the indicator on that side lights up, and with a CHIGEE display you hear a signal too. You set the speed at which the radar starts warning.

Active overtake alert: the SR-1 radar checks whether a vehicle is closing in from behind

After the overtake (AOA)

Active Overtake Alert

Checks the lane before you move back into it after overtaking.

After the overtake the radar assesses what is behind you once more. If someone is coming up or is still sitting in your blind spot, you get the warning early enough to move back in calmly.

Lane change assist: the SR-1 radar detects a car approaching in the next lane

Lane change (LCA)

Lane Change Assist

Checks the lane you are moving into.

Warning timing depends on your speed and the speed of the vehicles behind you. On the highway the signal comes earlier, so you have more time. In slow traffic the radar limits unnecessary alerts, so it does not distract you.

Rear collision warning: the SR-1 radar detects a car closing in fast from behind

Rear collision (RCW)

Rear Collision Warning

You know sooner when someone is closing in too fast.

When the radar sees a risk of being hit from behind, it warns immediately. That gives you time to steady the bike and react. Warning sensitivity can be tuned to your riding style.

FAQs

Buying Guide

Each SR-1 package includes as standard:

  • the core radar module,
  • two standalone indicator lights.

These indicator lights are the default warning-light setup and can be installed without replacing existing bike components.

The CG Radar Mirror is an optional upgrade and is not included in the standard package unless selected separately.

No. The SR-1 Radar is currently compatible with AIO-5 and AIO-6 series displays only.

It cannot pair or connect with the XR-2 Display.

When used with XR-2, radar alerts will only be shown through the flashing indicator light, not on the XR-2 screen.

Yes. SR-1 can be used without a CHIGEE display.

The included standalone indicator lights provide the core warning function on their own.

A compatible CHIGEE display can provide additional on-screen integration and settings access, but it is not required for basic radar warning operation.

No. The SR-1 can work normally without the warning lights when connected to a compatible CHIGEE display, such as the AIO-6.

If you only install the radar module and connect it to your AIO-6, the radar detection function will still work, and alerts can be shown directly on the AIO-6 screen.

The included amber warning lights are mainly for riders who want an additional visual alert, or for standalone use without a CHIGEE display.

Installation

Yes. The radar unit supports both upright and inverted installation.

However, the radar module itself must remain in the correct orientation.

Do not rotate the radar body or install it with the logo reversed. Instead, change the bracket orientation to achieve either upright or inverted mounting.

If the indicator light is installed the wrong way around and no display is connected, you can swap the Left and Right ports on the indicator light connector.

This will correct the warning direction.

No. The CHIGEE Display can only pair with one SR-1 Radar at a time.

If you switch to a second motorcycle with another SR-1 Radar, the display will not automatically connect to the second radar.

You will need to:

  • delete the first radar from the display settings,
  • then pair the second radar again.

How It Works

The SR-1 radar has a maximum detection range of 70 metres, but warning timing is not based on distance alone.

CHIGEE's alert logic takes into account the relative speed between your motorcycle and the vehicle behind you.

If a vehicle is approaching quickly, the system may warn earlier. If it is approaching slowly, the alert may come later.

This improves safety while reducing unnecessary warnings outside the actual risk zone.

The SR-1 radar module and indicator light provide visual warnings only and do not produce sound on their own.

To receive audible radar alerts, you must:

  • pair the SR-1 with a CHIGEE Display,
  • enable sound alerts in the display settings.

Radar alert sounds cannot be transmitted to your Bluetooth headset.

The sound is played only through the CHIGEE Display.

Yes. The radar unit includes an ambient light sensor near the indicator light area.

When riding into darker conditions, such as tunnels or nighttime, the indicator light automatically dims to reduce glare and improve comfort.

Yes. You can set the speed threshold for radar alert activation based on your riding environment and preference:

  • 0 km/h
  • 10 km/h
  • 30 km/h
  • 50 km/h

Once the selected speed is reached, SR-1 radar alerts become active.

This reduces unnecessary alerts in low-speed situations, such as city riding, while keeping warnings active during faster rides.

SR-1 is a rider assistance system designed to improve rear awareness, not replace safe riding habits.

Riders should always check mirrors, stay aware of surrounding traffic, and use their own judgment at all times.
